چکیده
Within the scope of study, thermal comfort analysis was performed using ENVI-met program Misak-ı Milli Square in Safranbolu, and it determined that perception square as slighty warm-warm. For this reason, a new design proposal has been submitted for square. In proposal, green ratio number trees increased, type location changed. The flooring materials replaced with stone covering higher albedo functional suggestions were made As result neutral dissatisfaction rate reduced below 14.5%. underlined areas tree type, constitute choice are important parameters providing

The level of satisfaction with an environment differs among individuals, which may be caused by social, psychological and physical factors. One of the environmental factors affecting physical and mental satisfaction, is the thermal condition of space. In recent years, the importance of thermal comfort has been accentuated due to the climate change and global warming, increasing the number of st...
متن کاملComparing the Microclimatic Role of Horizontal and Vertical Vegetation to Improving the Thermal Comfort of Outdoor Spaces between Buildings: A Case study (Faculty of Agriculture, I.K.I University), Qazvin.
Vegetation moderates a microclimate by casting shadows, increasing light reflection, evaporation and perspiration; and correcting wind patterns. The present study aims to investigate the microclimatic role of vegetated surfaces and bodies in improving thermal comfort in outdoor spaces between buildings. The main research question is which of the green system modes, that is, horizontal vegetatio...

The thermal environment outdoors affects human comfort and health. Mental and physical performance is reduced at high levels of air temperature being a problem especially in tropical climates. This paper deals with human comfort in the warm-humid city of Guayaquil, Ecuador. The main aim was to examine the influence of urban micrometeorological conditions on people's subjective thermal perceptio...
متن کاملEvaluation of human thermal comfort using UTCI index: case study Khorasan Razavi, Iran
The Universal Thermal Climate Index (UTCI) addresses these shortcomings by using an advanced thermo-physiological model. The aim of this study was to investigate and prepare zoning of thermal comfort condition using UTCI. Meteorological data including temperature, wind speed, cloudiness and relative humidity were obtained on a daily time scale from 10 synoptic stations during (2004-2013) period...
متن کاملEcosystem Biomimicry: A way to achieve thermal comfort in architecture
The strategies to reduce the consumption of non-renewable energies in buildings are becoming increasingly important. In the meantime, nature-inspired approaches have emerged as a new strategy to achieve thermal comfort in the interiors. However, the use of these approaches in architecture and buildings requires a proper understanding regarding the features of ecosystems. Although acquiring this...
